Ben Parkinson of "Den 2" in "Pack 410" invited members of the Freedom to talk about Perseverance. Ben, along with the other boys in the group, known as "Webelos", have to earn certain badges to get to the Boy Scout level. In order to gain each badge, individuals must do a presentation to exemplify why they deserve it. A Webelos can either choose the badge they would like to earn or an instructor will assign one to them. For this presentation, Ben chose the Athlete badge, which had a requirement to understand Perseverance.
So the Freedom attended the January 2009 Den meeting to talk about perseverance and give examples of how it is used in our lives. Ben held his own with the presentation, Freedom members told their story and answered questions. Concluding the presensation all Webelos were encouraged to try on equipment. Check the pictures below.
